A new meal-delivery service hoped to carefully nurture its site visitors without burning them out. Conversant alone had the right ingredients to remarket to them with success.


The Challenge

A new company without a ton of unique site visitors wanted to nurture the visitors they did get—and get them to convert.

They also wanted re-engage current subscribers to stay top-of-mind. Due to the newness of the brand, they needed to accomplish all of this with efficient and effective spending.

With our cross-device remarketing product, potential customers didn’t just get the same ad over and over. They got relevant, compelling conversations that told a richer story.

 

Our Solution

Other vendors’ remarketing products tend to bombard people with the same ads, because they only know them by their site cookies. Because Conversant understands complete individuals, we vary the media to build person-level conversations.

The company placed our cross-device remarketing tags on their site to see if each visitor made a purchase or merely browsed. With this data, we found the other devices they regularly used, then delivered cross-device ads with dynamic messaging. Prospective customers were offered a discount, while current customers saw relevant messages encouraging them to buy more meals.

And since we know how each consumer uses each of their (average 3.4) devices, we served messages only on the devices they were most likely to convert on.
